Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. Founded in 1951, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. is a large state-owned enterprise group implementing concentric diversified development with the power system as the core. The group has more than 20 wholly-owned, holding and shareholding second-tier subsidiaries, covering three major industrial sectors: engine manufacturing and its industrial chain, logistics and supply chain services, as well as new energy industry and related services. It has laid out industrial bases in Guangxi, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Chongqing, Liaoning and other regions across China.
Yuchai Group has been ranked among the Global Top 100 Auto Parts Enterprises, China's Top 100 Machinery Industry Enterprises and China's Top 500 Most Valuable Brands for many consecutive years. Its main products include diesel engines, gas engines, hybrid power systems, pure electric power systems, as well as engineering machinery, environmental sanitation equipment, special equipment and engine parts and components. In the field of engine R&D, Yuchai owns a number of innovative R&D platforms, such as the National Enterprise Technology Center, National Engineering Research Center for Internal Combustion Engines, Nationally Accredited Laboratory, Postdoctoral Research Workstation, and Academician and Expert Enterprise Workstation. It has taken the lead in launching several pioneering products, including the world's first power-split plug-in hybrid system, China's first National VI diesel engine and China's first hydrogen-fueled engine for commercial vehicles. To date, the group's cumulative production and sales of engines have exceeded 12 million units. Its scientific research achievements have won the National Science and Technology Award six times and the Nomination Award of China Quality Award twice. Its National Enterprise Technology Center ranks first in the national evaluation.
